Herbert Moore on August 21, 1946 in Payson and two daughters were born to this<br />
union: Janet Ruth (Moore) Ward and Kristina (Moore) Anderson. The family moved<br />
from <strong>Hanover</strong> in 1957 to Melbourne, Florida. Louise died August 28, 1993 in<br />
Melbourne; her body was cremated and her ashes were strewn over the Log Church<br />
Cemetery.<br />
Moore, Mary Elizabeth (Kilpatrick) was born March 16, 1913 rural <strong>Hanover</strong> and was<br />
the daughter <strong>of</strong> Howard Thomas and Fannie Estella “Stella” (Weede) Kilpatrick. She<br />
graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1931. She attended Monmouth College for two<br />
years and graduated from Sterling College, Sterling, Kansas, in 1940. Mary Elizabeth<br />
also attended the University <strong>of</strong> Colorado for three summers. Mary Elizabeth married the<br />
Reverend Charles W. Moore and no children were born to this union. Mary Elizabeth<br />
was an elementary school teacher for many years. Mary Elizabeth lived in Folking<br />
Rock, East Point, and Atlanta, Georgia. Mary Elizabeth died November 4, 1999 and<br />
Charles died July 24, 2003.<br />
Moorehead, Donald Richard was born May 9, 1920 in <strong>Hanover</strong> Township and was the<br />
son <strong>of</strong> Archibald “Archie” and Edna Eleanor (Smith) Moorehead. He was a World War<br />
<strong>II</strong> U.S. Army Veteran. Donald married Beverly Kennedy in Moline, Illinois and four<br />
children were born to this union: Michael Moorehead, Don Ray Moorehead, Kenneth<br />
Moorehead, and Patrice Moorehead. Donald was a retired pipe fitter and lived in Desert<br />
Hot Springs, California for many years. Donald died May 1, 1985 and is buried in<br />
Desert Hot Springs.<br />
Moorehead, Edna Eleanor (Smith) was born September 5, 1895 in Blanding, Rice<br />
Township, Jo Daviess County and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> John <strong>Grant</strong> and Katherine “Kate”<br />
Elizabeth (Schalk) Smith. She married Archibald “Archie” Moorehead on March 3,<br />
1915 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and two children were born to this union: Pearl Elizabeth (Moorehead)<br />
Fox and Donald Richard Moorehead. Edna died May 7, 1986 and is buried in<br />
Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Mordan, Genevieve (Michaud) was born September 16, 1900 in Illinois and was the<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Ephraim and Georgiana (Otto) Michaud. She was a cook at the Cook<br />
County Hospital in Chicago for 20 years prior to retirement in 1972. She then moved to<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong>. Two husbands preceded her in death. Genevieve died January 5, 1983; she<br />
was cremated and buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Morfey, Janice Adelle (Slack) was born February 24, 1925 in Ellenboro, Wisconsin<br />
and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Raymond and Anita D. (Noble) Slack. She graduated from<br />
Livingston, Wisconsin High School in 1942. Janice married Jimmie Morfey on August<br />
15, 1942 in Madison, Wisconsin and four children were born to this union: Larry<br />
Morfey, Mickey Morfey, Sheryl (Morfey) Pretcher, and Kathy Renee (Morfey) Drury.<br />
They lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for a time before moving to Savanna. They owned and operated<br />
the Upper Deck Sportsbar in Savanna. Janice worked at the Brunswick Supper Club<br />
and Eaton Corporation before she retired. Janice died April 21, 2010.<br />
Morfey, Jimmie Franklin was born June 30, 1924 in Madison, Wisconsin and was the<br />
son <strong>of</strong> Willard and Florence (Steak) Morfey. Jimmie was a World War <strong>II</strong> U.S. Army<br />
and U.S. Navy Veteran. He married Janice Adelle Slack on August 15, 1942 in<br />
Madison and four children were born to this union: Larry Morfey, Mickey Morfey,<br />
Sheryl (Morfey) Pretcher, and Kathy Renee (Morfey) Drury. The family lived in<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> for a time before moving to Savanna. Jimmie worked at the Savanna Army
