Mae (Fryett) Yardley, and Roger Earl Fryett. The family farmed in the Bradley, South<br />

Dakota area from 1927 until 1945, at which time they bought and operated a general<br />

store in Lily, South Dakota. He was an ammunition foreman at Black Hills Army Depot<br />

in South Dakota from 1950 until 1965 and retired to Edgemont, South Dakota for a time<br />

and later to Hot Springs, South Dakota. The couple moved to <strong>Hanover</strong> in 1988 to be<br />

near family. Sam died February 21, 1992 in Galena and he is buried in Prairie Hill<br />

Cemetery, Bradley, South Dakota.<br />

Fuidge, Verta Virginia (Gerlich) was born July 3, 1925 and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Louis<br />

Anthony and Louise A. Gerlich. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1943.<br />

Verta married James Rhys Fuidge and two children were born to this union: Jeffrey<br />

Lynn Fuidge and Nancy Lu Fuidge. The family lived in Clinton, Iowa for many years.<br />

Verta died in June 1984 and James died August 3, 2003.<br />

Fulrath, Jessie Victoria (Dauphin) was born April 30, 1904 in Savanna, Illinois and<br />

was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Edward and Doris (Dauphin) Dauphin. Jessie was a graduate <strong>of</strong><br />

Union Grove School and De Kalb Teachers College, De Kalb, Illinois. She married<br />

Glenn Samuel Fulrath on March 1, 1930 in Savanna and three sons were born to this<br />

union: Edward Glenn Fulrath, Lee Eldon Fulrath, and Colin Mac Fulrath. Jessie taught<br />

school for 19 years, she taught in the Oakton area during the 1950s and also Union<br />

Grove School. Jessie lived in Savanna for a number <strong>of</strong> years and moved to <strong>Hanover</strong> in<br />

the 1980s. Glenn died May 7, 1969. Jessie was living in Galena when she died on<br />

November 10, 1994. She is buried in Savanna Township Cemetery.<br />

Fulton, Doris Lucille (Beasley) was born August 10, 1925 in Mount Carroll, Illinois<br />

and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> John Laurence and Marjorie Ruth (Chafer) Beasley. Doris<br />

graduated from Great Falls, Montana at the age <strong>of</strong> 16. She married Ralph Charles<br />

Fulton on February 11, 1946 in Wacker, Illinois and ten children were born to this<br />

union: Ruth Elaine (Fulton) Breckenridge, Gary Lawrence Fulton, Patty Lynn (Fulton)<br />

Kurth, David Lee Fulton, Mary Jo (Fulton) Olsen, Mark Allen Fulton, Jeffery “Jeff”<br />

Ralph Fulton, Debra Sue (Fulton) Cassidy, Donald “Donnie” Wayne Fulton, and Kevin<br />

Michael Fulton. They lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years before moving to Haltom City,<br />

Texas in 1972, where Doris worked in the restaurant business. Doris moved back to<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> in 2002. Doris died May 10, 2010 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and is buried in Mount Olivet<br />

Cemetery, Fort Worth.<br />

Fulton, Jeffery “Jeff” Ralph was born in October 14, 1958 in Savanna, Illinois and<br />

was the son <strong>of</strong> Ralph Charles and Doris Lucille (Beasley) Fulton. He had lived in<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> until 1972 when the family moved to Haltom City, Texas. He graduated from<br />

Haltom High School in 1976. Jeff worked in sales at the Paxton Lumber Company. Jeff<br />

died December 10, 1995 in Bedford, Texas and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery,<br />

Fort Worth, Texas.<br />

Fulton, Ralph Charles was born February 11, 1922 in St. Paul, Minnesota and was the<br />

son <strong>of</strong> Ralph John and Ruth Martha (Montgomery) Fulton. He was a World War <strong>II</strong><br />

Veteran. Ralph married Doris Lucille Beasley on February 11, 1946 in Wacker, Illinois<br />

and ten children were born to this union: Ruth Elaine (Fulton) Breckenridge, Gary<br />

Lawrence Fulton, Patty Lynn (Fulton) Kurth, David Lee Fulton, Mary Jo (Fulton)<br />

Olsen, Mark Allen Fulton, Jeffery “Jeff” Ralph Fulton, Debra Sue (Fulton) Cassidy,<br />

Donald “Donnie” Wayne Fulton, and Kevin Michael Fulton. He drove bus for Scenic<br />

Stage Lines in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years, managed the <strong>Hanover</strong> Café, and worked at<br />
