Beverly Ann Delury on December 27, 1969 and one son was born to this union: Ryan<br />
John Kilpatrick. He taught in <strong>Hanover</strong> High School from 1971 until 1983, when he<br />
transferred to become the Principal in the Mount Carroll Junior/Senior High School. He<br />
later transferred to the Alden-Hebron School District in Wisconsin and retired in 2001.<br />
John died December 27, 2004 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Kilpatrick, John Pressly was born June 11, 1942 in Clarion, Iowa and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
the Reverend Marion Clifford and Erma Claire (Pressly) Kilpatrick. The family moved<br />
to <strong>Hanover</strong> in 1946. John graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1960 and from<br />
Monmouth College in 1964 with a double major <strong>of</strong> math and physics. John and Anne<br />
were married in 1966 and three sons were born to this union: Tom Kilpatrick, John<br />
Kilpatrick, and Rob Kilpatrick. John worked in the telecommunications industry<br />
beginning at Western Electric in Chicago. He then spent over 30 years in St. Louis,<br />
Missouri, first with Western Electric, then with AT & T and finally with Lucent<br />
Technologies. In 2000 John and Anne moved to Leelanau County, Michigan. John died<br />
in Traverse City, Michigan on February 3, 2009.<br />
Kilpatrick, Marion Cathern (Dresser) was born January 14, 1914 in Elizabeth, Illinois<br />
and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> LeRoy Stanley and Effie M. (Rodden) Dresser. She graduated<br />
from Elizabeth High School in 1930. She married David William Kilpatrick on<br />
December 14, 1935 in Galena and four children were born to this union: Thomas David<br />
Kilpatrick, Helen Mae Kilpatrick (1940-1942), John Phillip Kilpatrick, and Robert<br />
Stephen Kilpatrick. Marion and her husband farmed in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> until the early<br />
1970s, when they moved to the village <strong>of</strong> Elizabeth. Marion died March 9, 2003 and is<br />
buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Kilpatrick, Orris Andrew was born September 29, 1923 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Robert and Selena Lynly (Gordon) Kilpatrick. He was a World War <strong>II</strong> Veteran. Orris<br />
was a sheet metal presser and cutter for Pittman Manufacturing Company in Grandview,<br />
Missouri for many years. Orris died August 13, 1988 and is buried in Log Church<br />
Cemetery.<br />
Kilpatrick, Robert Hugh was born in about 1907 and was the son <strong>of</strong> Robert “Roy”<br />
Andrew and Selena (Gordon) Kilpatrick. He graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in<br />
1925.<br />
Kilpatrick, Robert Nairn was born May 27, 1912 in Elizabeth Township, Jo Daviess<br />
County and was the son Howard Thomas and Fannie Estella “Stella” (Weede)<br />
Kilpatrick. He lived on and worked the family farm north <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hanover</strong> his entire life.<br />
Nairn died November 6, 1995 and is buried in Log Church Cemetery.<br />
Kilpatrick, Ross Campbell was born May 9, 1910 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Howard Thomas and Fannie Estella “Stella” (Weede) Kilpatrick. He graduated from<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1928. Ross attended Sterling College, Sterling, Kansas and<br />
graduated from Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. He was employed for 25 years<br />
as a caseworker for the Illinois Department <strong>of</strong> Public Aid, retiring in 1980. He was a<br />
World War <strong>II</strong> veteran. He married Evelyn Newman in Monmouth. He later married<br />
Margaret L. Harrison Bilderback on May 5, 1956 in Pekin, Illinois. Ross had one<br />
daughter, Carolyn Jean (Kilpatrick) Davis and three stepsons: Marvin Bilderback,<br />
Robert Bilderback, and Roger Bilderback. Ross lived in Galesburg, Illinois for many<br />
years. Ross died December 24, 1985 and is buried in Bowen Cemetery, Bowen, Illinois.
