England and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Thomas and Jane (Ledgard) Glover. The family<br />
moved to the United States in October 1921 and settled in <strong>Hanover</strong> where Hilda became<br />
a weaver in the <strong>Hanover</strong> Woolen Mill. Hilda married Axel “Lindy” Lindberg on<br />
October 24, 1930 in Galena and two children were born to this union: Jane Andrea<br />
(Lindberg) Schuetz and Thomas James Lindberg. The couple divorced and Axel moved<br />
to the Bahamas and Hilda moved to Evansville, Wisconsin where she lived for many<br />
years. Axel was born in 1894 and he died in the Bahamas in 1963. Hilda died<br />
September 28, 1999 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Little, Thomas was born in about 1906 in Hawick, Scotland and was the son <strong>of</strong> James<br />
B. and Cecilia (Forsythe) Little. The family moved to the United States in October 1914<br />
and they lived in New York and Massachusetts before they moved to <strong>Hanover</strong>. Thomas<br />
graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1924. In 1930 Thomas was living in Fishkill,<br />
New York.<br />
Loberg, George “Bud” L. was born September 13, 1920 in Princeton, Illinois and was<br />
the son <strong>of</strong> Palmer Ruben and Jennie J. (Benson) Loberg. He married Valerie E. Panks<br />
on November 15, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and four children were born to this<br />
union: Richard Louis Loberg, Linda Louise (Loberg) Ehredt, Judith (Loberg) Wright,<br />
and Barbara J. Loberg who died in infancy. George was a U.S. Army World War <strong>II</strong><br />
Veteran. The family lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> in the 1950s then moved to Lena in October<br />
1958. George died July 18, 2009 in Freeport.<br />
Loberg, Valerie E. (Panks) was born May 4, 1921 in Flint, Michigan and was the<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Clarence W. and Elizabeth (Borck) Panks. She married George “Bud”<br />
Loberg on November 15, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and four children were<br />
born to this union: Richard Louis Loberg, Linda Louise (Loberg) Ehredt, Judith<br />
(Loberg) Wright, and Barbara J. Loberg who died in infancy. The family lived in<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> in the 1950s then moved to Lena in October 1958. Valerie worked at Atwood<br />
in Stockton for many years before retiring. Valerie was living in Lena when she died<br />
September 16, 2007.<br />
Lockhart, Leland L. was born October 15, 1908 in Rock Falls, Illinois and was the son<br />
<strong>of</strong> Robert L. and Florence I. Lockhart. Leland graduated from high school and attended<br />
college. He was a World War <strong>II</strong> Veteran. Leland worked at the Savanna Army Depot<br />
and had lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years. He retired he moved to Phoenix, Arizona and<br />
died there on June 30, 1989.<br />
Long, Dean A. was born August 25, 1942 in Aurora, Illinois and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Clarence “Dick” Kunstman. Genevieve Alta (Irwin) Long <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hanover</strong> adoped and<br />
rasied Dean. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Dean had three children: Kimberly Long,<br />
Cindy Long, and Ray Long. Dean was a tool and die maker for a number <strong>of</strong> years. He<br />
lived in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dean died on November 2, 1987; he was cremated and<br />
buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Long, Sally Ann (Lewin) Sutton was born September 29, 1937 and was the daughter<br />
<strong>of</strong> James W. and Marguerite (Lavterborn) Lewin. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High<br />
School in 1955. Sally was married to Charles Sutton and later to Roy Long. Sally had<br />
three daughters: Jill Ann Lewin, Megan (Sutton) Wills and Paige Sutton. Sally lived in<br />
Dubuque, Iowa for many years and died there on February 14, 2003.<br />
Lord, Curtis “Curt” William was born October 8, 1948 in Savanna, Ilinois and was<br />
the son <strong>of</strong> Curtis William and Marion Iliene (Lahre) Lord Sr. He graduated from<br />
