union: Donald Wayne Flack, Raymond Lee Flack, Jeannette Barnes (Flack) Haas,<br />

Maxine Geneva (Flack) Rummer, Kenneth LaVerne Flack, and Carol Ellen (Flack)<br />

Wilson Beck. Geneva had been a schoolteacher in Jo Daviess County and also worked<br />

at the Savanna Army Depot. Geneva died March 19, 1996 and is buried in Ladies<br />

Union Cemetery, Stockton.<br />

Flack, Jane Ann (Calvert) was born May 4, 1934 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the daughter <strong>of</strong><br />

LaVerne “Red” Wilson and Wilma Clare (Eadie) Calvert. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong><br />

High School in 1952. Jane married Raymond “Ray” Lee Flack on February 14, 1953 in<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> and three children were born to this union: Kimberley Ann (Flack) Schleicher,<br />

Raymond Todd Flack, and Ned Wayne Flack. Jane was a rural mail carrier for the U.S.<br />

Postal Service in <strong>Hanover</strong> for seven years. Jane died October 2, 1999 and is buried in<br />

Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Flack, Raymond “Ray” Lee was born February 1, 1930 in rural Freeport, Illinois and<br />

was the son <strong>of</strong> Frank Lester and Florence Geneva (Irwin) Flack. He graduated from<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1947. Ray was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He married Jane Ann<br />

Calvert on February 14, 1953 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and three children were born to this union:<br />

Kimberley Ann (Flack) Schleicher, Raymond Todd Flack, and Ned Wayne Flack. Ray<br />

farmed in <strong>Hanover</strong> for 38 years, retiring in 1987. He worked at Chestnut Mountain<br />

Resort where he managed the Ski Rental Shop and also owned and operated the Shell<br />

Gas Station in <strong>Hanover</strong> for several years. Ray died October 1, 2001 and is buried in<br />

Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Fleming, Madison Bryan was born February 6, 1897 in Athens, Tennessee and was<br />

the son <strong>of</strong> David F. and Mary E. (Hicks) Fleming. He was a World War I Veteran.<br />

After the war Bryan moved to <strong>Hanover</strong>, worked in the Woolen Mill, and played baseball<br />

for the <strong>Hanover</strong> Woolen Mill Baseball Team. Bryan married Rachel Vera Campbell on<br />

June 30, 1928 in Galena and one son was born to this union: Bryan Lynn Fleming.<br />

Bryan lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> most <strong>of</strong> his life and he was a surveillance inspector at the<br />

Savanna Army Depot for 25 years. Bryan died March 8, 1990 and is buried in<br />

Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Fleming, Rachel Vera (Campbell) was born August 21, 1905 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Hugh James and Margaret Anna (Dick) Campbell. She graduated from<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1924. Vera married Madison Bryan Fleming on June 30, 1928<br />

in Galena and one son was born to this union: Bryan Lynn Fleming. Vera worked at<br />

the <strong>Hanover</strong> Woolen Mill, Ray’s Super Value, and Bill’s Royal Blue. Vera died June<br />

21, 2003 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Fletcher, Richard “Dick” Allen was born June 1, 1936 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />

Louis <strong>Home</strong>r “Tex” and Agnes Geraldine “Gerry” (Jeffers) Fletcher. He grew up and<br />

went to school in <strong>Hanover</strong>. Dick was a staff sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps. Dick<br />

and his wife Nancy had four children and they lived in Nevada for many years. Dick<br />

died September 19, 1994 in Las Vegas and is buried in Southern Nevada Veterans<br />

Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada.<br />

Fletcher, Ronald “Ronnie” Keith was born November 13, 1943 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was<br />

the son <strong>of</strong> Louie “Tex” <strong>Home</strong>r and Agnes Geraldine “Gerry” (Jeffers) Fletcher. Ronnie<br />

grew up and attended school in <strong>Hanover</strong>. He was a staff sergeant with the U.S. Marine<br />

Corps and served in Vietnam. Ronnie married Sachiko Iwamura on July 17, 1965 in<br />

Japan and they divorced August 1, 1989. Ronnie died Mary 21, 1997 in Las Vegas,<br />
