union: Ruth Delores (Redington) Brinninger, James “Jim” Redington, Jerald “Jerry”<br />
Redington, Mary Kay (Redington) Weimerskirk, and Ronald Lee Redington. Carl was<br />
retired from the Savanna Army Depot and they lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years before<br />
moving to Galena. Carl died August 4, 1986 and is buried in <strong>Grant</strong> Hill Cemetery, rural<br />
Galena.<br />
Redington, Gladys Charlene (Skaggs) was born September 11, 1918 in Council Hill<br />
Township, Jo Daviess County and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Henry Reuben and Hazel Alice<br />
(Zeal) Skaggs. She married Carl Andrew Redington in February 1937 in Dubuque,<br />
Iowa and five children were born to this union: Ruth Delores (Redington) Brinninger,<br />
James “Jim” Redington, Jerald “Jerry” Redington, Mary Kay (Redington) Weimerskirk,<br />
and Ronald Lee Redington. They lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years. Gladys died<br />
February 21, 1986 and is buried in <strong>Grant</strong> Hill Cemetery, Galena<br />
Redington, Mary Mayme (Gable) was born November 8, 1892 in rural Jo Daviess<br />
County and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Henry and Rose Gable. She married Michael Francis<br />
Redington and seven children were born to this union: Carl Andrew Redington, John<br />
Joseph Redington, Elmer W. Redington, Berniece Helene (Redington) Krippendorf,<br />
Marie Violet (Redington) Welchert, Clyde Michael Redington, and Rosemary<br />
Redington. Mayme lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for a number <strong>of</strong> years. Michael died July 20, 1945<br />
and Mayme died September 7, 1985. They are both buried in St. Ann Catholic<br />
Cemetery, Warren.<br />
Reed, Delmar James was born September 23, 1917 in Elizabeth, Illinois and was the<br />
son <strong>of</strong> Delmer James and Florence L. (Williams) Reed. He attended Lost Mound School<br />
and graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1934. Delmar was a World War <strong>II</strong> U.S.<br />
Army Veteran. Delmar died February 1976 in Tucson, Arizona.<br />
Reed, Marion Oliver was born December 14, 1902 in Low-Moor, Iowa and was the<br />
son <strong>of</strong> Curtiss Alexander and Ida Mae (Kelly) Reed. He married Pauline “Polly” Stoner<br />
on June 22, 1927 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and two daughters were born to this union:<br />
Patricia “Pat” Elaine (Reed) Benjamin and Judith “Judy” Almeda (Reed) Kness. He<br />
and his wife owned Scenic Stage Bus Lines in <strong>Hanover</strong> for 37 years before they retired<br />
in 1969. Marion died September 9, 1982 and is buried in Log Church Cemetery.<br />
Reed, Pauline “Polly” (Stoner) was born October 3, 1901 in Kinross, Iowa and was the<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> George Franklin and Almeda Wine (Furman) Stoner. She married Marion<br />
Oliver Reed on June 22, 1927 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and two daughters were born to<br />
this union: Patricia “Pat” Elaine (Reed) Benjamin and Judith “Judy” Almeda (Reed)<br />
Kness. She and her husband owned Scenic Stage Bus Lines in <strong>Hanover</strong> for 37 years<br />
before they retired in 1969. Pauline died January 16, 1986 and is buried in Log Church<br />
Cemetery.<br />
Reichwein, Clarence A. was born December 12, 1906 in Bellevue, Iowa and was the<br />
son <strong>of</strong> Ernest Christopher and Christina (Yeager) Reichwein. He lived in in Bellevue<br />
for a number <strong>of</strong> years and later moved to Savanna. Clarence died May 4, 1985; he was<br />
cremated and buried in Lost Mound Cemetery.<br />
Reifsteck, Andrew Roy was born January 23, 1897 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Andrew W. and Anna C. (Millhouse) Reifsteck. He graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High<br />
School in 1917. Andrew was married to Lourene L. Reifsteck and in 1920 they were<br />
living in Duluth, Minnesota. Andrew was a traveling salesman and after his divorce<br />
from Lourene he lived with his Mother in Galena for a few years. Andrew married
