Nesbitt, William “Bill” Harold was born July 25, 1947 in Savanna, Illinois and was<br />

the son <strong>of</strong> Wallace Renwick and Maxine Virginia (Gartman) Nesbitt. He attended<br />

school in <strong>Hanover</strong> and graduated from Savanna High School in 1965. Bill was a U.S.<br />

Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. He married Patricia A. Eissens on July 21, 1967 in<br />

Thomson. Bill was a police <strong>of</strong>ficer in Clinton, Iowa for 17 years before he retired in<br />

1991, and he later worked as an investigator for the State <strong>of</strong> Missouri Public Defenders<br />

Office for seven years. Bill was living in Conway, Missouri when he died on January<br />

16, 2010. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Neubert, Anna Mae (Miller) was born April 9, 1927 in Savanna, Illinois and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> John Ulrick and Maria Regina (Keller) Miller. She lived on a number <strong>of</strong><br />

different farms in Jo Daviess and Stephenson Counties before her family moved to<br />

<strong>Hanover</strong> in 1942. Anna was working at the Villa Café in <strong>Hanover</strong> when she met her<br />

future husband. Anna married Wilber Daniel Neubert on January 14, 1946 in Mount<br />

Carroll and three children were born to this union: Danny Ray Neubert, Penny Ellen<br />

(Neubert) Ensley, and Greg William Neubert. The family lived in Kewanee all <strong>of</strong> their<br />

married life. Wilbur was born November 22, 1922 in Kewanee and died June 26, 1993<br />

in Kewanee. Anna died June 9, 1997 and is buried in Evergreen Memory Gardens,<br />

Kewanee.<br />

Neumann, Jeannette “Jan” Lorraine (Cook) Yenney was born June 15, 1930 in<br />

Savanna, Illinois and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Stinson Kenneth and Fern Lurene (Schaible)<br />

Cook. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1950. Jan was married to a Mr.<br />

Yenney and two daughters were born to this union: Debi Jean (Yenney) Beqiri and<br />

Nancy Ann (Yenney) Tibbets. Jan married Marvin A. Neumann on February 2, 1961 in<br />

Freeport. Jan worked at the Savanna Army Depot and was a waitress in various<br />

restaurants in Freeport. Her husband Marvin died January 1, 2001. Jan died February<br />

28, 2010 and is buried in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport.<br />

Nicholson, Caroline D. (Thompson) DeWees was born August 16, 1926 in Lynxville,<br />

Wisconsin and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Ivan B. and Alice M. (Caya) Thompson. She was<br />

married to Charles DeWees and two children were born to this union: Rick DeWees<br />

and Cathleen “Cathy” Alice (DeWees) Hungerford. She later married Orvle L.<br />

Nicholson on April 24, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa and three children were born to this union:<br />

Carole Lynn (Nicholson) Bourrette, Timothy Nicholson, and Melissa Ann Nicholson,<br />

who died in infancy. Caroline lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years and later lived in the<br />

Savanna and Fulton area before moving to Ottumwa, Iowa. Caroline died January 19,<br />

2005 in Ottumwa and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Nickerson, Gwendolyn Graham (Robinson) was born January 20, 1918 in <strong>Hanover</strong><br />

and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Charles Edwin and Florence Dashiell (Graham) Robinson.<br />

She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1935. Gwendolyn married Phillip H.<br />

Nickerson on April 19, 1941 and two children were born to this union. Phillip was born<br />

January 11, 1904 and died November 30, 1987. Gwendolyn died November 15, 1961.<br />

Niedo, Willis Glenn was born July 21, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />

Ray and Jane (Tahdooahnippah) Niedo. He graduated from Cache High School, Cache,<br />

Oklahoma. Willis was a U.S. Army Veteran. He married Linda L. Travis on January<br />

16, 1981 in Lawton and five children were born to this union: Amanda Niedo,<br />

Stephanie Niedo, Jennifer Niedo, William Niedo, and Dylon Niedo. He also had two
