Who Was Who II of Hanover, IL - Grant Home

of Christ Amundson and Olga Marie (Tallberg) Liberg. He was a prisoner of War
during World War II. He married Edith Erma Jean Upchurch and two sons were born to
this union: John Daryl Liberg and Steven Scott Liberg. They lived in Lombard and
were part-time Hanover residents for many years. He was a co-owner of Apple River
Well & Pump Co. Inc. of Hanover. John died February 13, 1985 and is buried in Forest
Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Lien, Gregory A. was born July 7, 1956 in Savanna, Illinois and was the son of Carrol
L. and Elaine (Dunn) Lien. He attended Hanover High School. He married Stacy L.
Workman on May 14, 1996 and they had one son: Justin Lien. Greg lived in Savanna
and later moved to Freeport where he worked as a machinist at Freeport Metal Works.
Greg died in Freeport on April 16, 2009.
Lien, Randy Carrol was born October 12, 1957 in Savanna, Illinois and was the son of
Carrol L. and Elaine (Dunn) Lien. He attended Hanover High School. He was
employed in the wood industry and lived in Hanover for a time before moving to
Clinton, Iowa. Randy was living in Clinton when he died on May 18, 1985 and is
buried in Savanna Township Cemetery.
Limage, Agnes Betty Lou (Coyle) was born May 11, 1923 in Selfridge, North Dakota
and was the daughter of George Augustus and Mary Isabella “Belle” (Love) Coyle. She
graduated from East Dubuque High School in 1941. Betty married Donald Le Clair
Limage on February 14, 1944 and four children were born to this union: Madonna
“Donna” Louise (Limage) Brown, Gary LeClair Limage, Judy Ann Limage, and Mary
Kay (Limage) Hoffman. She lived in Hanover most of her life, and in later years moved
to Dubuque, Iowa. Betty died February 3, 1989 and is buried in Mount Calvary
Cemetery, Dubuque.
Limage, John “Jack” Lewis was born November 3, 1930 in Hanover and was the son
of Marion LeClair and Marie (McGivney) Limage. He graduated from Hanover High
School in 1948 and from the University of Dubuque in 1952. He married Carol Lynn
Zuber on November 3, 1961 in Hanover and two sons were born to this union: Mark
Edward Limage and Bret Loren Limage. The couple divorced in January 1975. In
1960, Jack and his brother Donald purchased the Hanover Lumber Yard and sold the
business in 1968. Jack worked at the Savanna Army Depot from 1968 until he retired in
1988. Jack died January 16, 2010 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
Limage, Judy Ann was born January 1, 1948 in Savanna, Illinois and was the daughter
of Donald LeClair and Agnes Betty Lou (Coyle) Limage. Judy graduated from Hanover
High School in 1966 and from Northern Illinois University, De Kalb. She lived in
Rockford for many years and was employed as a secretary by Ingersoll Milling Machine
Company for several years. Judy died January 18, 1994 in Rockford.
Lincicum, Harold Lowell was born October 13, 1928 in Green County, Wisconsin and
was the son of John Lowell and Esther Irene (Barker) Lincicum. He was a Korean War
U.S. Army Veteran. He married Ann Lisetta (Adams) Altfillisch on November 9, 1972
in Hanover and two sons were born to this union: Harold Lowell Lincicum Jr. and
Forrest Carl Lincicum. This union also gave him four-step children: Frieda Ann
(Altfillisch) Paul, Edward Lee Altfillisch, Susan Marie (Altfillisch) Nobis, and Diane
Kay (Altfillisch) Walker. Harold lived in Hanover and also farmed in the Elizabeth
area. He died April 28, 1993 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Freeport.
