Penny Lynn Bourrette, Jason Thomas Bourrette, Jeffrey “Jeff” Eugene Bourrette, and<br />

Patricia “Patti” Cathleen (Bourrette) Morrison. Sandra lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years.<br />

She died April 10, 2007 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Bousman, George Lester was born February 14, 1905 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />

George Franklin and Elizabeth Mary Ann (Philamlee) Bousman. The family moved<br />

from <strong>Hanover</strong> to Woodbine when George was a child. George married Mona Idel<br />

Pulver on October 2, 1929 in Galena and one son was born to this union: William<br />

Donald Bousman. The family lived in Viroqua, Wisconsin for many years. Mona died<br />

June 29, 1965 and George died March 3, 1990 in Viroqua.<br />

Bovee, Anna Mae (Straitt) Pease was born July 17, 1914 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Charles Keeler and Anna Bell (Chase) Straitt. The family moved to<br />

Rockford in the early 1930s and Anna attended Rockford High School. She married<br />

Maurice Pease in August 1938 and six children were born to this union: Anna (Pease)<br />

Newquist, Betty Jean (Pease) Lundstrom, Sherry Ann (Pease) Davis, Linda K. Pease,<br />

Alan Richard Pease, and Barry Lynn Pease. Her husband Maurice died and she married<br />

Carl Bovee in 1959 and he died in 1960. Anna died July 24, 1983 in Rockford and is<br />

buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Bowman, Berneice L. (Stone) was born October 18, 1914 in Edgewood, Iowa and was<br />

the daughter <strong>of</strong> Myron L. and Cynthia E. (Bacon) Stone. She married Milton F.<br />

Bowman on June 4, 1933 in Edgewood and three children were born to this union:<br />

Howard Bowman, Sonia Sue (Bowman) Simons, and Kathi Jan (Bowman) Flies. They<br />

moved to <strong>Hanover</strong> and Berneice was employed at the Savanna Army Depot for many<br />

years before her retirement. They later moved to Dubuque, Iowa. Berneice died<br />

October 9, 1998 and is buried in Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point, Iowa.<br />

Bowman, Clyde Junior was born February 22, 1930 in Mount Carroll, Illinois and was<br />

the son <strong>of</strong> Clyde A. and Harriet (Hoover) Bowman. He was a Korean War Army<br />

Veteran. He married Sharon Lea Fletcher on August 12, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri<br />

and one step son: Allen McCluskey and four children were born to this union: Jeff<br />

Bowman, Robin (Bowman) Goodell, Cindy (Bowman) Herrington, and Susan Bowman.<br />

They lived in Savanna for a number <strong>of</strong> years and he was employed as a sheet metal<br />

shear operator at the Alco Dispensary Company. Clyde died July 9, 1989 and is buried<br />

in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Bowman, Donald C. was born July 13, 1930 in Strawberry Point, Iowa and was the son<br />

<strong>of</strong> Donald Emil and Francis Irene (Goldsmith) Bowman. He graduated from Strawberry<br />

Point High School and attended the University <strong>of</strong> Dubuque. Donald was a Korean War<br />

U.S. Army Veteran. He married Dorothy Meyer on December 26, 1955 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and<br />

three children were born to this union: Donald H. Bowman, John Bowman, and Shari<br />

(Bowman) Curry. They lived in Elizabeth for a number <strong>of</strong> years before moving to<br />

Marshall, Missouri. Don was a manufacturer’s representative for Cominco Fertilizer<br />

Company for 28 years before he retired on December 31, 1990. Don died October 31,<br />

1993 in Marshall and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Bowman, Milton F. was born January 17, 1910 in Strawberry Point, Iowa and was the<br />

son <strong>of</strong> Howard Chase and Ida Edith (Rebaschaus) Bowman. He married Berneice Stone<br />

on June 4, 1933 in Edgewood, Iowa and three children were born to this union: Howard<br />

Bowman, Sonia Sue (Bowman) Simons, and Kathi Jan (Bowman) Flies. Milton was a<br />

World War <strong>II</strong> U.S. Army Veteran. He was a foreman at the Savanna Army Depot for 30<br />
