1956 and five children were born to this union: Kelvin Webster, Paula (Webster)
Flageolle, Ann (Webster) Kurt, Tim Webster, and Gregg Webster. Tom was a
petroleum engineer, starting his career with Shell Oil in 1952 and ending with his
retirement from Arco in 1986. The family lived in Lakewood, Colorado for many years
before they retired to Zephyrhills, Florida. Tom died May 2, 2001 and is buried in
Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cuba City, Wisconsin.
Weede, Angela Sue (Boop) was born November 29, 1966 in Galena, Illinois and was
the daughter of Clifford Ellsworth and Jeanette Elaine (Wald) Boop. She graduated
from Hanover High School in 1984 and later attended Northeast Iowa Community
College. Angela married Robert Carl Weede on September 21, 1985 in Hanover and
three children were born to this union: Amanda Kaye Weede, William Robert, and
Kelly Lynn Weede. The family lived in Hanover and Angela worked as a Corrections
Officer at the Dixon Correctional Facility in Dixon, Illinois since 2001. Angela died as
a result of a car accident on January 27, 2011 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
Weede, Hazel Marie (Andresen) was born April 24, 1912 in Iowa and was the
daughter of Mark and Dora (Fonsin) Andresen. She married Lawrence Andrew Weede
on October 20, 1932 in Lost Nation, Iowa and two children were born to this union:
Robert Carl Weede Sr. and Barbara Ann (Weede) Grabbe. The family lived in Hanover
for a number of years before moving to Elizabeth. Hazel was a hairdresser in Elizabeth
from 1961 until 1977. Hazel died November 9, 1981 and is buried in the Elizabeth
Cemetery.
Weede, Robert “Bob” Carl was born March 29, 1933 in Toronto, Iowa and was the
son of Lawrence Andrew and Hazel Marie (Andresen) Weede. He attended Hanover
area schools. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran. Bob married, and later divorced, Mary
Elizabeth Schafer and three children were born to this union: Robert Carl Weede Jr.,
Karen Sue (Weede) Turbiner, and Michael Andrew Weede. Bob farmed in the Hanover
and Savanna area and also worked at the Savanna Army Depot, Albrecht Welding, at the
railroad yard in Clinton, Iowa, and he owned and operated Weede’s Welding on Wheels
in Elizabeth. He lived in Elizabeth for many years. Bob died March 1, 2008 and is
buried in Elizabeth Cemetery.
Weible, Clifford John was born December 21, 1917 in Derinda Township, Jo Daviess
County and was the son of John Jacob and Carlena E. (Bauer) Weible. He was a World
War II Veteran. Clifford married Jean Ann Boop on September 22, 1951 in Hanover
and three daughters were born to this union: Marilyn Jean (Weible) Roe Pierce, Patti
Lynn (Weible) Woods, and Cindy Ann Weible who died in 1964 at the age of five.
Clifford worked as a mechanic at the Savanna Army Depot for 25 years before he
retired. The couple later moved from rural Hanover to Stockton. Clifford died July 6,
1997; he was cremated and buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
Weible, Jean Ann (Boop) was born December 25, 1933 in Hanover and was the
daughter of Clifford and Alice Louisa (Paisley) Boop. She graduated from Hanover
High School in 1951. She married Clifford John Weible on September 22, 1951 in
Hanover and three daughters were born to this union: Marilyn Jean (Weible) Roe
Pierce, Patti Lynn (Weible) Woods and Cindy Ann Weible who died in 1964 at the age
of five. They lived in Hanover for many years and later moved to Stockton where Jean
worked at Atwood Automotive. Jean died August 12, 1997; she was cremated and
buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
