If someone were <strong>to</strong> switch off the input signal <strong>to</strong> a large MEG, the field may not die away instantly, which<br />

would result in a field spike as it follows suit <strong>to</strong> the signals. Then EM pulses may arise, which are (very)<br />

destructive <strong>to</strong> all electronic equipment. These EM pulses are so destructive in fact, that some nations have<br />

conducted extensive research in<strong>to</strong> their possible application as a weapon.<br />

A Faraday cage would form the "dike around the lake" for the MEG. This is a metal case enclosing the<br />

magnetic field plus the MEG completely. With the exception of strong EMP effects it will keep a semi-steady<br />

field contained so that no outside negative effects will occur. So in the course of normal operation, the MEG<br />

can be shielded quite easily. The worrisome moments occur when switching the MEG on or off. How will<br />

the shielding affect the ability of the vec<strong>to</strong>r potential field energy <strong>to</strong> replenish itself as energy leaves the unit?<br />

We Need <strong>to</strong> Proceed With Caution<br />

Concluding, we can say that the MEG is a means <strong>to</strong> pour energy from a tremendous reservoir with<br />

remarkable little effort. The result is almost limitless energy at practically no cost. The only drawback known<br />

in the current state of research is that on a large scale nasty, hard <strong>to</strong> control side effects may rear their ugly<br />

heads. Therefore while the MEG represents a ground breaking and innovative new technology it should not<br />

be rushed <strong>to</strong> market without exhaustive testing.<br />

The <strong>Devices</strong> of Hans Coler<br />

Hans Coler developed a device which he named the “Stromerzeuger” which consisted of an arrangement of<br />

magnets, flat coils and copper plates with a primary circuit powered by a small battery. The output from the<br />

secondary circuit was used <strong>to</strong> light a bank of lamps and it was claimed that the output power was many<br />

times the input power and could continue indefinitely.<br />

The apparatus principally consists of two parallel connected spools which being bi-filar wound in a special<br />

way, are magnetically linked <strong>to</strong>gether. One of these spools is composed of copper sheets (the spool is<br />

called the ‘plate spool’). The other one is made of a number of thin parallel connected isolated wires (called<br />

‘spool winding’), running parallel <strong>to</strong> the plates, at small intervals. Both spools can be fed by separate<br />

batteries (6 Volt, 6.5 AHr were used). At least two batteries are needed <strong>to</strong> get the apparatus operating, but<br />

subsequently, one battery can be removed.<br />

The spools are arranged in two halves each by the bi-filar windings. The plate spool also contains iron rods<br />

with silver wire connections. These rods are magnetised by a special battery through exciter windings.<br />

Electrically, the exciter winding is completely isolated from the other windings. Hans said that the production<br />

of energy takes place principally in these iron rods and the winding of the spools plays an essential part in<br />

the process.<br />

It should be mentioned that the spool circuit is powered up first. Initially, it <strong>to</strong>ok a current of 104 mA. The<br />

plates and exciter circuits are then switched on simultaneously. When this is done, the current in the spool<br />

circuit dropped from 104 mA <strong>to</strong> about 27 mA.<br />

It is suggested that an electron be not only regarded as a negatively charged particle but also as a South<br />

magnetic pole. The basic Stromerzeuger element is that of an open secondary circuit, capacity loaded,<br />

inductively coupled <strong>to</strong> a primary circuit. The novel feature is that the capacities are connected <strong>to</strong> the<br />

secondary core through permanent magnets as shown here:<br />

It is claimed that on switching on the primary circuit, “separation of charges” takes place with M1 becoming<br />

positively charged and M2 becoming negatively charged and that these charges are “magnetically polarised”<br />

when they formed, owing <strong>to</strong> the presence of the magnets. When the primary circuit is switched off, a<br />

“reversing current” flows in the secondary but the magnets “do not exert a polarising effect on this reversal”.<br />

Two of the basic elements shown above are placed <strong>to</strong>gether making a double stage arrangement with the<br />

copper plates close <strong>to</strong>gether.<br />
