Fig.6 shows the electrical diagram of a direct current mo<strong>to</strong>r with two windings connected between the battery and<br />

two pairs of capaci<strong>to</strong>rs, in which two switch contacts ensure their correct polarisation and direction of rotation.<br />

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION<br />

In a preferred embodiment shown in Fig.1, the load consists of a direct current mo<strong>to</strong>r M, the battery UB, and the<br />

second accumula<strong>to</strong>r which consists of a pair of capaci<strong>to</strong>rs CA and CB. The capaci<strong>to</strong>rs CA and CB are connected<br />

<strong>to</strong> each other in parallel by means of two switches S1 and S2. These capaci<strong>to</strong>rs are charged through the mo<strong>to</strong>r M<br />

and diode D1 <strong>to</strong> a voltage level equal <strong>to</strong> that of the battery UB, the charge being Q = (CA+CB)UB, and while<br />

these capaci<strong>to</strong>rs are being charged, the mo<strong>to</strong>r M is rotating.<br />

When both capaci<strong>to</strong>rs are fully charged, they are connected in series by the switch contacts S1 and S2. This<br />

produces a voltage which is twice the value of the voltage of the battery UB, resulting in the charge which is given<br />

by Q = 2 x UB x (CA+CB) / 2 which is Q = (CA+CB)UB, which shows that once charged, the charge Q of both<br />

capaci<strong>to</strong>rs is identical both in parallel and in series.<br />

Diodes D1 and D2 ensure that current flow through the mo<strong>to</strong>r M is only ever in one direction. Immediately after<br />

capaci<strong>to</strong>rs CA and CB are connected in series, they return half of their charge through diode D2. Switches S1<br />
