facing the north pole of the magnet, that is, the field generated by the induced current opposes the motion of the<br />

magnet.<br />

When the magnet is moved away from the coil, the current induced in the coil has a direction opposite <strong>to</strong> that<br />

shown in Fig.1, thereby generating a magnetic field whose south pole is facing the north pole of the magnet. The<br />

two poles attract each other, that is, the field generated by the induced current opposes the movement of the<br />

magnet away from the coil. This behaviour is present in all current power genera<strong>to</strong>rs, and known as ‘engine brake’<br />

is highly undesirable as it increases the resistance and so, the energy loss.<br />

When two electromagnetic coils are placed facing each other, as shown in Fig.2, there is no current in either of<br />

them. At the instant of power-up of one of the coils, the current in the coil, generates an induced current in the<br />

second coil. When powered up, the current in the coil goes from zero <strong>to</strong> its maximum value, and then remains<br />

constant.<br />

Thus, when the current is changing, the magnetic field generated by it, (whose north pole faces the second coil) is<br />

also changing and so the magnetic flux of this field through the second coil is also changing. Then there is a<br />

current induced in the second coil whose sense is such that the magnetic field it generates tends <strong>to</strong> decrease the<br />

flow mentioned above, that is, its north pole confronts the north pole of the first field coil.<br />

When the power switch is opened, the current in the first coil drops from its maximum value <strong>to</strong> zero, and<br />

correspondingly its magnetic field decreases. The flux of the magnetic field in the second coil also decreases,<br />

and the induced current now flows in the opposite direction. This current flow direction produces an enhancing<br />

magnetic field, that is, it has a south pole facing the north pole of the field of the first coil.<br />

Thus, there is a realisation of the principle of conservation of energy, expressed by Lenz's law, wherein any<br />

induced current has an effect which opposes the cause that produced it. Assuming that the induced current acts<br />

<strong>to</strong> favour the variation of the magnetic flux that produced the magnetic field of the coil, it would have a south pole<br />

facing the north pole of the approaching magnet, causing the magnet <strong>to</strong> be attracted <strong>to</strong>wards the coil.<br />

If the magnet were then released, it would experience an acceleration <strong>to</strong>ward the coil, increasing the intensity of<br />

the induced current and thus create an enhanced magnetic field. This field, in turn, would attract the magnet with<br />

increasing force, and so on, with a continuing increase in the kinetic energy of the magnet.<br />

If energy were <strong>to</strong> be withdrawn from the magnet-coil system at the same rate at which the kinetic energy of the<br />

magnet increases, then there would be an endless supply of energy. So it would be a perpetually operating<br />

mo<strong>to</strong>r, which would violate the principle of conservation of energy. Therefore, it can be concluded that current<br />

genera<strong>to</strong>rs feature a large energy loss during the generation of electricity.<br />

Objectives of the Invention<br />

An objective of the present invention is <strong>to</strong> contribute <strong>to</strong> the generation of sustainable energy, proposing an<br />

electromagnetic machine capable of producing abundant electricity from an extremely low input of electrical<br />

energy.<br />

The above objective and other objectives are achieved by the present invention by a device comprised of at least<br />

one electromagnetic field-generating device (without a core or with at least one core) powered by an electrical<br />

power source (without a core or with at least one core) having their coils, or sets of coils, wound on at least one<br />

common conductive member in a closed circuit which itself has a polarised voltage which is connected <strong>to</strong> at least<br />

one conductive interconnection element which is connected <strong>to</strong> a grounding grid, these interconnections creating a<br />

new technical effect, namely, the appearance of an electric current which keeps circulating in a closed conductive<br />

loop, and which can therefore be used <strong>to</strong> power external loads.<br />

The device which is the object of the present invention operates as follows: the electromagnetic field generating<br />

device, powered by a power source, produces an electromagnetic field which induces an electric current in a<br />

closed conductive circuit, creating an interaction between the magnetic poles of the equipment and the magnetic<br />

poles of the earth - through both electromagnetic attraction and repulsion. An endless supply of electrons is drawn<br />

from the earth in<strong>to</strong> the conductive closed loop, which is connected <strong>to</strong> the ground through a conductive<br />

interconnected grid. Attracted electrons add <strong>to</strong> the current already flowing in the conductive closed loop, making<br />

power available for driving high-power loads, although the device itself is only supplied with a small amount of<br />

power. Thus, advantageously, the device which is the object of the present invention, acts as a trap for electrons<br />

from the earth and this allows the generation of electricity.<br />

Advantageously, the present electromagnetic equipment generates either electricity or thermal energy, providing<br />

access <strong>to</strong> this new source of energy is through an electromagnetic field. The interconnections of the components<br />
