frequency which is determined within a wide band by the speed of rotation of the ro<strong>to</strong>r. In the example shown in<br />

the Figure, the ro<strong>to</strong>r has a squirrel-cage structure.<br />

The machine of Fig.9 differs from that of Fig.6 by the addition of supplementary capaci<strong>to</strong>rs 120 arranged in<br />

parallel with the inductances 11. The circuit thus obtained is an inverse wave band-pass filter. The width of its<br />

band-pass is determined by the respective values of the capaci<strong>to</strong>rs 12 and 120. The phase velocity remains<br />

rapidly variable as a function of the frequency. The machine operates as a genera<strong>to</strong>r, the frequency of which,<br />

depends only very slightly on the velocity of rotation of the ro<strong>to</strong>r.<br />

The “Ro<strong>to</strong>Verter” Power Amplification System.<br />

Not all pulsed-drive systems use permanent magnets as part of their drive mechanism. For example, the<br />

Ro<strong>to</strong>Verter, designed by Hec<strong>to</strong>r D Peres Torres of Puer<strong>to</strong> Rico, and which has been reproduced by several<br />

independent researchers, producing at least 10 times more output power than the input power, uses standard<br />

three-phase electric mo<strong>to</strong>rs instead of magnets.<br />

This system has been reproduced by several independent researchers and it produces a substantial power gain<br />

when driving devices which need an electrical mo<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong> operate. At this time, the web site:<br />

The output device is an alterna<strong>to</strong>r which is driven by a three-phase mains-powered, 3 HP <strong>to</strong> 7.5 HP mo<strong>to</strong>r (both of<br />

these devices can be standard ‘asynchronous squirrel-cage’ mo<strong>to</strong>rs). The drive mo<strong>to</strong>r is operated in a highly nonstandard<br />

manner. It is a 240V mo<strong>to</strong>r with six windings as shown below. These windings are connected in series<br />

<strong>to</strong> make an arrangement which should require 480 volts <strong>to</strong> drive it, but instead, it is fed with 120 volts of singlephase<br />

AC. The input voltage for the mo<strong>to</strong>r, should always be a quarter of its rated operational voltage. A virtual<br />

third phase is created by using a capaci<strong>to</strong>r which creates a 90-degree phase-shift between the applied voltage<br />

and the current.<br />
