This mo<strong>to</strong>r is shown running on capaci<strong>to</strong>rs, but if it is powered by an ordinary battery and run at it’s design speed<br />

of 3,300 rpm instead of the extremely low speed shown, then it should be able <strong>to</strong> charge up a serious bank of<br />

large batteries, one of which could then be used <strong>to</strong> power it for the next charging run.<br />

The ‘UFOpolitics’ Mo<strong>to</strong>r<br />

In chapter 2, there is a section on how an experimenter alters the wiring inside DC mo<strong>to</strong>rs. This alteration has a<br />

major effect, boosting the output power by a major amount as well as providing an additional generated electrical<br />

output. One person who followed his instructions and rewound a tiny 3-volt 3-pole mo<strong>to</strong>r, then tried running that<br />

mo<strong>to</strong>r on a discharged 6-volt battery. The mo<strong>to</strong>r ran, slowly at first and then picked up speed. That seemed<br />

impossible as the mo<strong>to</strong>r draws 300 milliamps when running and the battery was just not capable of providing that<br />

current. However, impossible or not, the mo<strong>to</strong>r ran and not only did it run but it started recharging the battery<br />

driving it. This suggests that this is a self-sustaining system which provides output power and yet never needs <strong>to</strong><br />

have the battery recharged.<br />

The way that this happens is that what we think of as “electricity” is actually a more complex thing called<br />

“electromagnetism”. We think of electricity and magnetism as being two different things, while in fact, they are<br />

two different aspects of the single entity electromagnetism. The electric component always has an efficiency of<br />

less than 100% which the magnetic component always has an efficiency which is greater than 100% - something<br />

which we usually don’t notice as we tend <strong>to</strong> ignore the magnetic component.<br />

In the case of this tiny 3-volt mo<strong>to</strong>r, it draws it’s running ‘hot electricity’ current from the battery. That causes<br />

rotating magnetic fields inside the mo<strong>to</strong>r and these generate ‘cold electricity’ which flows back along the supply<br />

wires and charges the battery.<br />

Some Battery Charging Suggestions<br />

Using a vehicle <strong>to</strong> charge batteries.<br />

It is very easy <strong>to</strong> overlook the obvious. It is possible for people who do a fair bit of driving, possibly <strong>to</strong> and from<br />

work, or maybe dealing with a delivery round, <strong>to</strong> charge some additional batteries from the car alterna<strong>to</strong>r. Once<br />

the engine is started, additional batteries can be connected in parallel with the car battery, that is, the plus<br />

terminal of the extra battery or batteries connects <strong>to</strong> the car battery plus.<br />

This does draw some additional energy from the car engine and in theory should cause some additional fuel <strong>to</strong> be<br />

used, but the extra fuel should be fairly minor as most of the power of the engine is used <strong>to</strong> push air aside as air<br />

resistance goes up with the cube of the speed of the vehicle. The charged batteries can be removed from the<br />

vehicle in the evening and used <strong>to</strong> power lights, TVs, DVD players, etc. in the evening by using a small<br />

commercial inverter.<br />

Experimenting with a battery charger.<br />

There is an interesting possibility when using one of the pulse battery chargers shown earlier in this chapter, say,<br />

an Alexkor solid-state pulser. Commonsense tells you that if you want <strong>to</strong> light a lamp using a battery, then the<br />

longer the lamp is <strong>to</strong> be lit, the larger the battery needs <strong>to</strong> be.<br />

Looking at this from a slightly different viewpoint, we could say that the shorter the period of time when the battery<br />

has <strong>to</strong> power the bulb, the smaller the battery can be. So, for example, if the bulb only needed <strong>to</strong> be lit for ten<br />

seconds, then the battery could be quite small.<br />
