1343: I think everybody needs to be more aware of what is going on, a lot of times people sendyou to someone else for help and they send you to someone else and so on.1344: There is always an hour wait to speak to an adviser during the admissions time. ThereforeI feel they should hire more students/advisers to help with the admissions process.1345: More knowledge, able to be more personable with what route to go. I was really lookingfor guidance when I spoke to a counselor and I left still feeling confused.1349: Make things clearer.1359: Be more helpful when you are there and try to complete the process without having tocome back 3 or 4 times.1360: By calling the applicant!!!! Having the an adivsory and a financial aid advisor call youand making an appointment with you in regards to your class and financial aid..... No oneanswers the phone when I call. And no one seems to care... admission is not the helpful!1362: Have more communication like a newsletter regarding any changes!1377: Better communications between other Florida Community Colleges to make transfers runsmoothly. When a student choses a Certificate Program, the courses required for thatcertificate, SHOULD also list all prerequisites, because that unfairly adds courses andclass time that is not required for the Certificate Program!1382: I had a lot of difficulty during admissions. Most of the staff were very rude and no oneever answered the phone in the office. I recall calling 12 times in one day and neverhaving the phone answered.1385: getting everyone to do the exact same thing.... to be constant1386: I would not know because I have not had a problem.1397: Provide a checklist of the documents needed. I had an extremely difficult time getting myfinanacial aide situated. If there is such a checklist already I was never given it. Otherthan that everything else was a smooth transition1403: Have more staff aviable so the lines and the time of wating will be short...1432: Better sign age to direct people1439: More counselors available for advising1445: I haven't had any trouble with admissions so I can't say.1447: not sure1454: Better training for the staff, to ensure that they are all on the same page.1455: Students be able to ask questions even if from different home campuses.1462: insufficient data to formulate a response.1464: they need more time with each student1465: Make it easier to help working students. When you call for questions admissions tells youto come in to meet with someone in person. Students that work a full time job during theday are unable to come in during most of the working hours to wait in line to meet andtalk with someone.1469: I think it works well1485: answer the question more acurate and take the time to actually help.1496: They should be friendlier1498: have scholarships for international students.1504: i think it is fine but i think they should change the cpt part. i think it is dumb that we haveto take the prep class if we do bad on the cpt. i think you should let us take our chance inthe college level classes. they are a waste of time and money. thank you1507: Nothing, I have always recieved satisfactory serviceStudent Satisfaction Survey 2007 – Q3: Admissions – Page 11
