915: More staff to cut down the wait. On one ocassion, I had to wait 8 hrs to see the financialaid person, and on average I wait at least 1-2 hrs to see someone916: Please less wait time. I have waited two hours.943: Answer the phones (Plant City campus).956: Financial needs to be improved the most *** Each time I have to go through the office tosee someone it is a joke * I know the staff has been an issue but waiting 5hr at a time andthen have to come back for another 5hr wait is not exceptable. I Know that some peoplein the office try to get the students along but others in the staff seem like they do not canhow long a student has to wait... This is your biggest problem at HCC.957: put more people on staff. the wait to see someone in finacial aid is way to long. Waitingto see someone for an hour or more is entirely unacceptable980: Hire people that know what they are doing...i went in and asked the advisor how to signup for bright futures and what i needed to get it, and all she did was give me a pamplet tolook it up myself online and she couldnt answer any of my questions about it...sobasically i waited all that time for her to give me a piece of paper with a website on it tofigure out on my own...last time i checked i thought it was their job to help us on thatstuff??1021: I waited four hours one day to see Financial Aid I think that needs some help.1036: maybe staff a few more people during peak times to weed out students with simple tasksthat may or may not require a financial aid rep.1055: They need better and faster service in Plant City. I have waited up to 3 hours for literally a two minute sessionwith a counselor.1214: Offer more scholarship information other than Bright Futures or Pell Grant.I found outabout the Bailey Family Organization through someone who is a financial advisor fromanother college.1319: All staff should give the same answer. It seems that depending on the day, and how busythey are directly correlates to how friendly and helpful they are.1339: Place more advisor available in the compus two to three months before every semester.1352: either way that whole financial aid confuses me so my mom deals with that so it doesntreally have to be improved for me1379: I have a BIG issue with the financial aid office. I made the mistake of having a differentsutdent loan guarantor,which by federal law I have the right to,and nobody ever knewwhat was going on with my loan. I would go into the office and they will look me up inthe computer and never be able to find me. I wound up having to go to the main office tophysically sign the check,when it was finally processed. It is definitely a message toanyone with experience,to make sure you always go with Sallie Mae,which isn't fair andpossibly against federal regs.1400: be faster at seeing students1446: Fire Everyone and Start over...1500: Get more people to work in financial aid!!
