990: nothing998: When you come to financial aid, they are less than helpful. They ask why you are there,and you explain that you have questions about how to get financial aid. Then they say tofill out the fafsa. They do not talk about scholarships or grants or loans, just to fill out theonline application. When you come in and ask about how much you would get for grantsthey just tell you to wait until it is posted on your account. However, they do not tell youthat once it is posted, it is too late to ask for a loan. They also have lost numerous papersthat I have physically turned in. They lost my entire file in a time span of 3 days anddenied it. However, they were a little confused as to why the screen said everything wasturned in and yet they did not have a file. I think that this office needs a completely newset of staff memebers. They need to be clear what all the choices are and make sure thatthey are giving out the most complete information possible.1007: the availability of staff or persons qualified to answer questions1010: If you are going to have student workers run the desk TEACH THEM A FEWTHINGS!!! It is so frustrating when I go to talk to someone and the first person I have toget through is dumber than a box of rocks!1032: Even though the school posts all sorts of flyers around the campus, students still don'trealize that the financial aid office exists...1040: Answer student's questions patiently!1050: Make it easier to see people in the services. It takes a while to actually see someone toask the questions and if you call, you're put on hold for a long time. My parents don't pay for schoolbecause I have a scholarship for tution. This scholarship doesn't pay for books. Myparents make to much for me to have financial aid but I do. Because I am a dependant Iget no money for financial aid. I cannot afford books and my parents refuse to pay. Givestudents who are dependants that don't qualify for financail aid because of there parentsanother way besides loans to get help.1212: nothing1215: At least twice, I was told that there were no holdups with my financial aid only to findout at the very last minute that there was something else needed.
