Q65: WHAT COULD HCC DO TO IMPROVE ITS CAMPUS FACILITIES?CAMPUS = BRANDON20: Build more parking lots. Make it mandatory for students and faculty to use parkingdecals/passes.21: The campus is starting to look run down and gross on the outside with the tiles andeverything falling off.32: the study area in the libary is very big, while some students remain quite, some like totalk, it is very distracting, I think the libary needs to better enforce the qutieness of thelibary. Second the parking is horrible, when i have to park in the dirt parking lot next tothe soft ball field. there is only one way in and one way out. the entrance to that place hashuge pot holes that need to be filled in. the security is good about directing traffic in thereand guideing to your parking place, but the way out is a nightmare. they need more exits,i have sat in the waiting line to get out for up to 20 minutes.45: I hate the people who don't smoke in the smoking areas, and the securities do nothingabout it. Some smoking areas is too close to the buildings, may they should move it closeto the parking area or just ban smoking in campus.60: no improvement62: smells like pee everywhere63: Pave the entrance to the parking field of the Brandon Campus. The pot holes are messingup my car... I understand that paving the whole field is not an option due to budget cuts,but at least pave the entrance. It won't cost that much.74: we need maybe a parking garage, there needs to be someone that stops people fromsitting in one spot waiting for the closest parking avalible, i cannot count how many timesi have almost crashed trying to get around them when others fly through the parking lot.Also the campus looks horrible, its falling appart, the tiles are gone, the metal supportsunder the tile are flaking off, and the bathrooms by the BSCI building smells horrible.The side walks dont make it easy for wheel chairs, its so many tight turns and theresbenches near all the corners so lots of kids gather there like by BACA and the kids thatgather there dont want to move for anyone.77: more parking79: Better test center hours.86: Increase the size of parking at brandon campus.90: better parking103: more guards in the parking lots.111: By building a parking garage at brandon, the space would be better utilizied.117: The college should purchase more hygienic chairs to be put in the humanities building atthe Dale Mabry campus.The ones currently there,although comfortable,are not ideal forthe amount of students that use them.The chairs are very stained and thus not veryhygienic.125: there needs to be more parking. maybe build a parking garage. get people for parkingnext to curbs...that can lead up to accidents. the testing center i do not like the people thatwork there. most of time i have gone there i have not understood what they were sayingorthey got a little snippy.135: The way the buildings are set up is a little confusing.
