1563: As I mentioned before, it is incredibly frustrating that minute issues cannot be taken careof over the phone or via email. This is the new millenium and advisors should returnemails and phone messages. Its unacceptable that questions go unanswered because theydidn't take the time to check their emails or voicemails.1581: More staff, better attitude, better response1587: provide later hours. It would be nice to remain open as late as the campus is open1620: decrease the wait time students have to wait sometimes two hours before we are seen.1621: already fine as it is.1646: its hard to say more one-on-one, since there are so many students and so little advisers.more time would be nice1752: Well, maybe they can reduce the waiting time, and the advisors can seem morepassoinate about their career.1754: MORE ACCURATE INFO ABOUT WHICH CREDITS TRANSFER TOUNIVERSITY PLEASE1757: be more professional1760: maybe make a few more computers available1833: At Dale Mabry Campus, I was satisfied everything. However, at Ybor Campus I feltAdvisers are not professional and not fair. They go to Lunch even people are waiting totalk to them from morning. If advisers see students they know, they help the students firstthan people waiting at the waiting room. When I asked about transfer to aunversity(USF), he ([a staff member]) told me he does not know. I have to go USF andask about it. No help at all. So I went to Dale Mabry adviser and asked the same questionI asked at Ybor, they helped me a lot.1836: Your Advising officers are great, they advise you great while also trying to lead a extrahand in other circumstances that may not have to do with academics. The only gripe Ihave is why all your advisors dress professinal when [a staff member] dresses in littletight shirts that barely fit when bending over you can see his underwear. He has beendressing like this since I first seen him, I think this is unprofessional and unfair to otheradvisors that are professional.I have mentioned this to him and he states he is proud of hisbody.... Someone has to say something to him because its just a tacky image.1853: Extend the time after 5:00pm that they are willing to accept walk ins and hire moreadvisors since there are not engough at registration time.1858: (Nursing) I realize they get asked the same questions over and over but for many studentsit's their first time asking. Quit being short and abrasive with the answers just becauseyou are tired of being asked the same questions.Student Satisfaction Survey 2007 – Q15: Advising – Page 142
