c. Basic Operation Screens. The K22 has a basic “Welcome to Navy Cash” screen thatis shown when there are no current purchases being made. The Operator is shown on line 3. The currentcard balance is shown on line 2. The balance will bein the format “$ xxxxx.xx” (up to $99999.99 ofvalue). If there is no currently entered card, then line 2will be blank. Finally, on line 1 are an asterisk and anexclamation point. The asterisk represents the currentnetwork status –– if the K22 has had a contact withthe server in the past 30 seconds, the asterisk will notbe shown.
