Conclusion
This sample, which included mostly asymptomatic and well
functioning individuals, reported a fair level of quality of life. The
frequency of symptoms and perception of being stigmatized
strongly predicted poor quality of life in this sample of HIV/AIDS
patients. The determinants of perceived quality of life in this group
revolved around psychosocial aspects of their lives.
