Aim of the review:
The purpose of this project is to depict a collaborative effort among
staff nurses and clinical leaders to perform a systematic review of
the literature and subsequently implement Skin-to-Skin Mother-
Baby Care (also known as Kangaroo Care), with healthy motherinfant
Analysis:
The group was fortunate to find thirty plus years of abundant
research and over 400 articles which supported Kangaroo Care
(KC). The body of evidence was of Meta-analyses and Randomized
Controlled Trials. Nursing research journal club sessions were
offered to critique the Kangaroo Care Cochrane review. Team
members collaborated with leading experts in KC with questions
