through recognising their understanding and demonstration of
critical thinking. Moreover, I gained a true picture of their valued
responses and clinical activities, which would not be feasible
The participants were proficient in providing holistic patient care
and practised critical thinking skills, in various situations. These
experienced critical care nurses are vital at the bedside and their
introducing these strategies throughout their learning process.
Critical thinking improves practice, contributes to optimal patient
outcomes and reduces the incidents of adverse events.
