§. 4. The principal places belonging to it, in the county of Leiinngen,
are
Hartenburg, anciently the refidentiary feat, and ftill the diftinguifhing
title of this line.
Durkheiin an der Hart, a little town, which the counts making their
refidence the public offices are kept there.
Limburg, originally a convent of BenediBines, but deflroyed by Count
TLmich in the year 1503, during the palatinate war, and afterwards the revenue
belonging to it fequeflrated.
The villages of Frankenßein, Hochfpeyer and a part of Steinbach.
Great and Little-Bockenheivi , villages belonging to a collateral-line, which
takes its title from them, and is alfo proprietor of Bechtheim and other
villages,
Heydeßjeim, or Hedeßoeim, a village, containing a feat of the counts.
Buteßeim and Gimtersblwn, lying not far from the Rhine, Ilverßeim,
Dolgelß:eim and Walertum, all villages belonging to the line of Leiningen-
Dachsbiirg-Gimtersblum.

MUNZFELDEN.
'\/TUNZFELDEN, Mimfeldcn, Mensjelden, an Imperial caftle and vil-
^^^ läge lying betwixt Dietz and Kirchberg, two towns belonging to
branches of the houfe of N'a/Jäu, which has been already mentioned in the
fourth Volume. Trier and Najfau-Ufnigen (not Dietz, as in thofe places) are
joint owners of it, the former of two thirds and the latter of one. That part at
prefent belonging to the Eledor oi Triers, was formerly included in the lordlliip
of Schadcck ; and thus became the property of the counts of Leiningen-
Weßerburg; but has fince been ceded, with referve of redemption and the
contributions, to the houfe of JValdeck, from whom it has palled to the Elector
of Triers ; and the houfe of Leiningen-Weßerburg no longer receives the
contribution. This territory gives a feat and vote in the Diet of the
Circle of the Upper- Rinne. Its quota to the Circle is fifty-four kruitzers.
