revenues which it poflelTed in Sii'abia, Alface, the city and bifliopric of
Baßl, the Brifgau and Kiugßngerthal. At prefent it has bailiffs at Orenburg
and Zell am Hammersbacb.

The Cißercian abbey of Heggbach, or Heppach, belonging to the diocefe
cf Coßanz, lies betwixt the abbey of Ocf.ße?ihaiißen., the Imperial town of
Biberacb and the Aiijlrian territories. This abbey is faid bv fome to have
been founded in the eleventh century, but according to others in the year
12';^, and is fubordinate to the abbot oi Salmanju-eil. The title of its abbcls
is, moft noble lady-abbefs and ladv of the Imperial foundation and
abbey of Heggbach. In the Diet of the Empire fhe lits and votes on the
bench of the Swabian prelates, betwixt the abbefl'es of Rotlmunßer and
Gutenzell, but in that of the circle of Sivabia betwixt the abbot of Gengenbacb
and the abbels of Gutenzell. In the matricula of the Empire and
Circle her afleiTment is at prefent fixteen florins, and her taxation to the
Kanimerziek thirteeen ruthlers, forty-fix kruitzers and a quarter. To the jurifdidion
of this abbey belongs.
The village of Mietingen, together with certain hamlets, as namely
Sulmingen. It polTefiTes alfo a fliare in the lower jurifdidion of the village of
Aiclßetten.

The Cijicrcian abbey of Gutenzell, in Latin Bona cella, in fome ancient
records alfo called Gottefzell, or Dei cella, lies betwixt the abbey of Ochfenbaufcn,
the lordlhip of Iler-Aychheim and other territories. It is faid to
have been founded about the year 1240, being under the infpedion of
the abbot of iSö/OT^^/irt'/V. The title of its abbels is that of mod noble
lady-abbefs and lady of the free and noble foundation and abbev of
