§. 6. In the college of Princes HchenzoUern has but one vote, which is
given by the reigning Piince of HobenzoUcrn-Hechingen, and betwixt the
votes of Avcmbcrg and Lotkoivitz. In the Diet of the Circle of Swabia,
ench reisnine Prince has a vote. The afleflrnent in the inatricula of the
Empire for Hechingen and Haigerloch is fix horfe and twenty foot, or one
hundred and fifty-two florins, namely, ninety-five for ät/j//;^^;/, and fifty-feven
for Haigerloch ; Woringcn and Sigviaringen are rated at one hundred and
thirty-eight liorins ; but Wohringen being a dependency of Aiißria, and
Sigmaringen claimed alfo by the archducal houfe thereof, this article does
not take place. To the chamber of Wetzlar, Hohenzolle7-n-Hcchivg(7i pays
forty-three rix-dollars twenty-five and a half kruitzers ; and Hühenzollern
Haigerloch and Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen the like fum ;
exclufive of certainarticles
in the matricida concerning the lands of Werdenberg and Tengennellenburg,
but thefe are are of no efFedt.
§. 7. Each reigning Prince has a council and treafiiry. The yearly income
of the Prince of HchenzoUern Hechingen is computed at 30,000 florins,
and that of HohettzoUern Sigmaringen does not exceed this fum.

Not far from the town lies a convent of Francifcan Friars, called
St. Luzen, and betwixt Hechingen and HohenzoUern is Stetten, a village
which is a dependency of the parirti of Hechingen, and contains in it a Dominican
nunnery called Maria Gnadenthal or the Vale of Mary % Grace.
