that name, in which is a fine houfe belonging to the Teutonick order. To
this commendary appertains
Wimmenthal, a large village, lying not far from the tow-n.
Sondheim, a village, feated on the Neckar.
Dalheitn, or Thalbeim, a village, and
Degmarn, lying on the Kocher.
VIL The commendary of Oettingen has its feat in the head-town of tiie
Counts of that name. The principal places belonging to this commendary
have been (hewn above, p. 236.
VIII. The commendary of Kapfenburg lies between the county of Oetfingen,
and the provoftfliip of E/wangen, and was formerly a prefedturate of
the Counts of Oettingen. To this commendary, exclufive of other eflates,
belongs
Kapfenburg, a citadel and village ; and
Lauchheim, a fmall market-town, together with
The villages of Braßelburg, Hohenloch, Michelfeldy Waldhaufcn, and feveral
other hamlets.
IX. The commendary of Vim has its feat in the Imperial city of that
name, and comprizes, exclufive of other eftates,
Bollijigen, a village.
Bettingen, alfo a village ; and
Setzingen, a village, feated on the river Lo?tthal.
