2. The villages of Hoffen, Elmamdorf, Bachhaufefi, Könnende rj\ Grofzhf,
Kerkhojhi, OberndorJ, Sulzkirchen, Ohaulen, Kruppacb, RockJ'dorJ\
Wettenhofen, and the Saiidmuhl, are all given out by the allodial heirs a?
property.
3. Zum Grab-, a fmall cloyfter, in which this feigniory is poffclTed of a
right in common with the abbey of Vhinkßetten.
II. The Seigniory of P y r b a u m, in which is
1. Pyrbaum, a citadel and market-town.
2. The vWX'a.gQi of Obern-Hembach diwd Pruppach, which belong to the
allodial eftates, and according to fome accounts, in conjundion with the
foregoing place, conftitute of themfelves the confined territory of the feigniory
of Pyrbaum. But others reckon alfo the villages of ^JJelJchwang, Menning,
Ebenried, &c. in it,
3. The villages of Äfz//jZ6^7z//^« and Bierberbach, together with their appendages
are particularly mentioned in the fief-letters, having been ceded
to the Lords of Wolßtein in the year 1362 by the Emperor Charles IV. after
their firft inveftiture as fiefs of the Empire, which happened in 135"?, but
which inveftiture became vacant by the extindion of the Lords of Hcyivcrk,
At Muhlhaujen flood a caftle or nobleman's feat, which, in the fifteenth
century was the refidence of a collateral-line of the Lords of Wolfstew. The
village of Bieberbach ftands under the territorial jurifdidion of the bifhop of
Eychßadt.
Rem. The above places belong all to the confined territory of thefe feigniories
; but exclufive of them, it is likewife pofTefled in foreign territories,
particularly in the amt of Neumarkt in the upper-palatinate, of other villages,
hamlets and fubjedts, all belonging to thefe feigniories, and over
which it formerly enjoyed burgherly jurifdidion, quit-rent, fubfidy, tax and
military-fervice, thefe places being given out as hereditary, proprietary
eftates. The ruinous mountain-caftle and ftem-houfe of Wolfüein ftands
not far from the town of Neumarkt. Exclufive too of the cloyfter of Seeli"
genpforten, fituate in the territory of Bavaria, the feigniory of Upper-Sulzhurg
is likewife pofTefled of other immunities and prerogatives.
