argent. The Elurggrave Frederick V. brought this fortrefs, together with
Heydenheim, to his own houfe in the year 1366.
2. The adminiftratory-prefefturate of Heydenheim has fprung up
out of an ancient cloyfter there. This prefecturate has its feat in the
market-town of Heydenheim.
3. The adminiftratory-prefedurate of Ostheim, lying in the borough
o{ Ojiheim. To this prefedurate alfo belonged the decayed caftle of Rcchenberg.
4. The adminiftratory-prefedurate of Berolzheim, in the markettown
of that name, which lies not far from the AltmuhL
5. The judge-amt of //^t'Z'/^^Wv;, fituated in the parochial-village of the
fame name.
6. The adminlflratory-prefedturate of Treuchtlingen, which has
its feat at

TreiichtlingejT, a market-town, lying on the Altmuhl, with a citadel in
and a Proteftant and Ro}nan-cz\ho\\c church.
7. The adminiftratory-prefedlurate of Sollnhofen, fituated at
Sollnhofen, a market-town, lying on the Altmuhl, and having a houfc
for the making of mirrours.
X. The upper-prefeöurate of Wassertrudingen, to which belongs
Waffertrudingen, one of the head towns of this principality, lying on the
Wernitz, and containing in it a citadel, and being likewife the leat of the
upper-amt and revenue-office, as alfo of a decanate. This place anciently
belonged to the Counts of HoL\'utruhetidingen, from whom it fell fucceffively
to the Counts of Oettingen and Hobenlohe, and in 1371 ^^as difpoled of for
33,000 lb. weight of hellers to the Burggraves oi Nürnberg. In the year
1634 this place fufFered greatly by fire.
2. The cloyfter-amt of Anhäufen, feited in the parochial-village of
Auhaufcn on the Wernitz, and in which formerly flood a cloyfler of BencdiSiines.
3. The prefefturate of Rockingen, in which is- ^
Rockingen, a parochial-village and citadel. And
Reichenbach, alfo a village and citadel.
4. The adminiftratory-prefedlurate of Schwaningen, which is feated at
Schwaningen, or Upper-Schivaningen, a borough, containing a princely
palace, with a fine pleaüi re-garden to it.
5. The-vogt-amt of Witteljhofen, which has its feat af
Wittelßofen, a borough and citadel, lying on the river Sulz.
XI. The upper-prefefturate of Windsbach, to which belongs
I. Windsbach, a fmall town and citadel, lying on the Rednitz, and the
