of Fonierania, with his daughter Anne, and other places in dowery. In
1391 it was fold to the Gender family, which is ftiU in pofleffion of it.
I'he noble Gt.v^A'r criaiinal jurifdiftion over this town and an adjoining diftridl,
which, exclufive of other places, aifo comprizes in it the foUov^'ing,
is difclaimed on the fide of the Marggrave of Brandenburg.
3. Kalchreui, a parochial-village and citadel, belonging to the Hallers
of Hallerdein.
4. Neuhof, a citadel and village; and Beerbach, a parochial-village, belonging
to the family of IVeljer, which exercifes the criminal jurifdiction
over thele places.
On the fule oi Laurence foreft lie alfo many places belonging to the patricians
of Nurnberg ; together with others, as for inftance, Fifchbach, a
parochial-village and citadel, the fubjeäis of which belong for the moft
part to the family of Harjdorf; Mogeldcrf, alfo a parochial village ; and
THinrcuw, formerly a cloyfler, which is united with the C/ör^w-prefedfurate
of Nurnberg, 6cc.
Of the immunities of the town of Nurnberg in the Hofmark of Fürth
we have treated above, under the principality oi Onolzbach.
Feucht, a market-town, containing a parifh-church, and being the capital
of all the Zicdlers, (a people who have permilTion to breed bees and colledl
honey) as alfo of the Ziedel eftates. Here too the Zeidel-court is held
yearly on the firft of May, at which court the complaints of the pofleflbrs
of the Zeidel eftates are taken into conlideration.
II. The following adminiftratory-prefedliiratcs, which {land
under the rural adminiftratory-prefedlurate of Nur7iberg.
I. Within the lines which furround the neareft tracfl to the town of
Nürnberg is
1. The adminiftratory-prefeflurate of Wohrd, having Its feat in the
market-town of that name, which lies on the river Pegnitz, and conftitutes
a fuburb of Nurnberg. At the parifh-church here officiate one curate and
one deacon Frederick I. eledlior of Brandenburg and Burggrave of Nürnberg
fold
this place to the town of Nurnberg.
2. The adminiftratory-prefedurate of Gostenhof, having its feat in
the great borough of Gojlcnbcf, which is alfo confidered as a fuburb to
Nurnberg.
3. The Weiber hofpital of St. 'John, together with a parifh-church and a
church-yard to it, which contains in it divers very confiderable and remarkable
