.The lordfliip of Wurxach lying in the yllgau, betwixt the lordfliip
of Kifzkgg, the county of WoJffegg, the lordfhip of Waldburg and the abbeys
oi Ochfenhaiifen 3,nd Roth; and which came to the family of T'ruchfejz bv
Clara, countefs of Neijfen, fpoufe to Count 'John. In it is
Wurzach, a fmall town feated on the river Aitrach.
The village of Elbwangen with feveral hamlets and farm-houfes.
2. The lordfliip of Marßetten or Mahljletten lying on the Her, about one
hour and a quarter wefl: from the town of Memmingen, and formerly belonging
to the counts oi Konigjegg, by whom it was fold to the Truchfcfzes.
This lordfliip contains in it
Marflettoi, a caftle in a ruinous condition, feated on the Her.
Aitrach, or Eitrach, a large village lying on the little river of the fame
name, which below it joins the Her, A fpecies of fifli called Jiafen, j. e.
fnouts, come in fpring time in flioals from the Her into that o^ Aitrach in
order to fpawn, when vafl: numbers of them are caught and exported in
fait to Bavaria. Though but a village this place carries on a very large
trade with Vienna in wood and floats.

Ferthofin, a hamlet, in which is a bridge over the river Iler^ and a ftrong
cuftom-houfe, together v/ith many other hamlets.

The reigning count of which bears this title, hereditary fteward of the
holy Roman Empire, count of Wdffegg, baron of Waldburg, lord of the
Waldjee, Zeil, Wurxach and Marßetten, as alfo of Kifzlegg, Walterßofen,
he Rothjee, Frajfzberg and Leypolz. Its territories are
I, The lordfliip of Wolfegg, which lies betwixt the lordftiips of the
Waldfee, Wurzach, and Kijzlegg, and the diftrid of Altorf, forming alfo a
part of the portion of Clara countefs of Neißeii. To it belongs
Wolffegg, or Wolffeck, a village and feat.
