I. Of the following parts of the preceding county of Deux-ponts, Ivin«-
in the Wajgau ; viz.
I. Deuxponts, in Latin Bipontum, in German Ziveybrucken, the cajital,
though not large. It is well built and has a fine palace ereded in the modern
tafte. It is alfo the feat of an upper bailiwick. Of the great church here the
Catholics have the choir and the Proteftants the nave. The Liitheram have
likewife a church. In this town is alfo a gymnafmrn. During the thirty years
war this town fuffered extremely, and, in 1677, no lefs from the Frmch.
In a vale at no great diftance from it lies
Schuflick, a pleafure-houfe, erected by Stanißaus, the dethroned King of
JRohvid, during his refidence at Dcnx-ponts, but now gone to ruin.

Hornbach, a little town.
Breidenbachy Contwig, Em/iiveiler, Lambß.wn and Wiesbacb, Limbach,
Miiibach and Webenheim, Niinjcfnveilcr, Riefch'weilcr, Waldmob)-, Walzbeim,
all Proteflant pariflies.
Aniveikr, a fmall town and the feat of Trieffch, near which lies
Neti-Caßell,
a feat.
Bergzaberfi, a fmall town, containing a feat and an upper bailiwick.
Minjeid and Latigenkandel, two market-towns.
Guttenberg, a feat.
Kindelbrun and Dr^ichenfcls, two caftles lying in ruins,
Kleeburg, a market-town, fortified with a wall and a caftie, was formerly
the refidence of the family of Deuxpotits-Klecbtirg, the founder of
which was John Ccifimir, third fon to Duke John. The Proteftants have a
church here.

The Proteflant churches at Barbelrode, Drupweiler,
hach, Leinfweiler, Rett, Wilgarjwiefen, Winden.
II. The following parts of the preceding county of Feldenz, and fiefs of
the Eled:or-palatine ;

Lichtenberg, a feat, to which belongs
Peterß'eim, a village.
S. Micheljhurg, a feat, and S, Remigimburg. This place is an upper
bailiwick.
The BoJ/enbacber and Nerzweiler,
Kußel, a fmall town.
The Proteflant parilhes of Achtehbach, Baumholder, Boffenbacb, Conken,
HinflueHer, Niederkirchen, Pfeflelbach, JJlmelz, IFolferfweil.
Meißenheim, a little town and feat, lying on the river Gian, which is alfo
the feat of an upper bailiwick, is a fief of Mentz.
Odenbach, a borough, flandingon the river Glan. The Proteflant church
here and that of Medart are incorporated.
