In the above table No: 2 indicated that from item 1 to item 30. It is revealed that the
Average of x 2 value is (43.02) is greater than the table value of x 2 (0.05) at P (0.05), so
that the opinion is different among the teachers. Therefore both null hypothesis H0 1 and
H0 2 were rejected. Hence it means that there is significant difference to explore the role
of motivational factors in the professional development career choice of teacher in the
academic institutions of Rawalpindi. Similarly there is also significance difference in the
status professional development career choice of teacher in the academic institutions of
Rawalpindi in rural as well as urban areas.
5. Conclusion
In the light of the finding the following conclusions were made:
i. Majority of teachers opined that these are key factor of motivation such as status of
attractive job, prestige profession, reward, incentive, expressing expectations,
achievement, advancement, recognition, status, good working environment interest
to adopted teaching as profession career and first choice of every teacher.
ii. Majority of teachers adopted teaching as first profession choice due to prestige of this
noble profession.
