At its tenth session, the Ad Hoc Committee considered,finalized and approved the article, as amended. Interpretative noteThe interpretative note on article 22 <strong>of</strong> the convention approved by the AdHoc Committee and contained in its report on the work <strong>of</strong> its first to eleventhsessions (see A/55/383/Add.1, para. 45) is as follows:The term “conviction” should be understood to refer to a conviction nolonger subject to any appeal.
