This Protocol shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date<strong>of</strong> deposit with the Secretary-General <strong>of</strong> the United Nations <strong>of</strong> the [...] 1 instrument<strong>of</strong> ratification or accession [; however, <strong>this</strong> Protocol shall not enter into force beforethe Convention has entered into force].“2. For each State Party ratifying or acceding to the Protocol after its entry int<strong>of</strong>orce, the Protocol shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by suchState <strong>of</strong> the instrument <strong>of</strong> ratification or accession.
