Each State Party shall adopt such measures as may be necessary to establishas criminal <strong>of</strong>fences under its domestic law the conduct set forth in article 2,paragraph 2, and shall impose penalties that take into account the grave nature <strong>of</strong>those <strong>of</strong>fences.“2. Each State Party shall also adopt such measures as may be necessary toestablish as criminal <strong>of</strong>fences under its domestic law the following conduct and shallimpose penalties that take into account the grave nature <strong>of</strong> those <strong>of</strong>fences:“(a) Attempting to commit an <strong>of</strong>fence set forth in article 2, paragraph 2;“(b) Participating as an accomplice in an <strong>of</strong>fence set forth in article 2, paragraph2;“(c) Organizing or directing others to commit an <strong>of</strong>fence set forth in article 2,paragraph 2; or“(d) In any other way contributing to the commission <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence set forthin article 2, paragraph 2, by a group <strong>of</strong> persons acting with a common purpose; suchcontribution shall be intentional, regardless <strong>of</strong> whether it was made with the aim <strong>of</strong>furthering the general criminal activity or purpose <strong>of</strong> the group or in the knowledge<strong>of</strong> the intention <strong>of</strong> the group to commit the <strong>of</strong>fence concerned.3.
