402 Travaux préparatoires: United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime(c) The means and methods used by organized criminal groups for thepurpose <strong>of</strong> trafficking in persons, including the recruitment and transportation <strong>of</strong>victims, routes and links between and among individuals and groups engaged insuch trafficking, and possible measures for detecting them.2. States Parties shall provide or strengthen training for law enforcement,immigration and other relevant <strong>of</strong>ficials in the prevention <strong>of</strong> trafficking in persons.The training should focus on methods used in preventing such trafficking,prosecuting the traffickers and protecting the rights <strong>of</strong> the victims, including protectingthe victims from the traffickers. The training should also take into accountthe need to consider human rights and child- and gender-sensitive issues and itshould encourage cooperation with non-governmental organizations, other relevantorganizations and other elements <strong>of</strong> civil society.3. A State Party that receives information shall comply with any requestby the State Party that transmitted the information that places restrictions on its use.C. Interpretative noteThe interpretative note on article 10 <strong>of</strong> the protocol approved by the AdHoc Committee and contained in its report on the work <strong>of</strong> its first to eleventhsessions (see A/55/383/Add.1, para. 78) is as follows:Paragraph 1The term “travel <strong>document</strong>s” includes any type <strong>of</strong> <strong>document</strong> required forentering or leaving a State under its domestic law.
