The following separate articles were also discussed in the context <strong>of</strong> the negotiationprocess <strong>of</strong> the firearms protocol, but were eventually deleted. As already indicated(see note 4 by the Secretariat concerning article 37 <strong>of</strong> the convention in part one and thechapters on deleted articles <strong>of</strong> the trafficking in persons protocol and the migrants protocol,in parts two and three, respectively), the objective <strong>of</strong> the present publication is toreflect and present the complete picture <strong>of</strong> the negotiations on the content <strong>of</strong> the conventionand its protocols, irrespective <strong>of</strong> which provisions were finally included in the approvedtexts.
