S9 mix liver homogenates from Aroclor 1254 induced rats
Evaluation of results:
The compound was classified as positive on the basis of a dose-dependent
increase (two-fold) in micronucleus frequency, compared with negative
control values. The mitotic ratio was calculated to evaluate toxicity as the
ratio of binucleated and polynucleated cells to total lymphocytes. Two
independent experiments were carried out.
POSITIVE CONTROLS were carried out with the promutagens CPA,
DMBA, BaP
