Funding decreased to align with NNSA priorities to sustain the<br />

stockpile and provide funds for maintaining production in the<br />

Tritium Readiness subprogram.<br />

High Explosives and Weapon Operations<br />

Funding decreased to align with NNSA priorities to sustain the<br />

stockpile and provide funds for maintaining production in the<br />

Tritium Readiness subprogram.<br />

Nonnuclear Readiness<br />

<strong>The</strong> increase will fund the maturation <strong>of</strong> manufacturing technologies<br />

associated with mechanical components for the arming, fusing, and<br />

firing (AF&F) major component assembly, JTA telemetry,<br />

detonators, switches, and radars associated with the B61 LEP.<br />

Tritium Readiness<br />

Funding increased for irradiation fees and reactor fuel to support the<br />

increase <strong>of</strong> tritium production from 240 TPBARs per cycle to 544<br />

TPBARs per cycle; repairs and improvements at the TEF and for<br />

initial procurement and installation <strong>of</strong> a large water management tank<br />

at TVA’s Watts Bar reactor.<br />

Advanced Design and Production Technologies<br />

Funding decreased to align with NNSA priorities to sustain the<br />

stockpile and provide funds for maintaining production in the<br />

Tritium Readiness subprogram.<br />
