application <strong>of</strong> psychology to social welfare work is explored.<br />

recommend action plans within an industry or organisation:<br />

Apply a framework for innovation, improvement and long term success, to assess<br />

and industry or organisation, designed to assess current performance levels<br />

against a proven benchmark, and develop a road map identifying areas forfuture<br />

improvement This is achieved by employing the organisational self-assessment<br />

model <strong>of</strong> the Australian Quality Council's Business Excellence framework.<br />

Applya framework to an industry or organisation, involving a business oriented<br />

process approach, that is customer satisfaction and continuous improvement<br />

focussed with the compatibility for environmental management and other<br />

management system elements with wider applicability for organisations. This is<br />

achieved by applying the framework <strong>of</strong> the ISO 9000 for 2000 process model.<br />

Identify an industry or organisation's opportunities for improvement, from both the<br />

organisational self assessment employing the Australian Quality Council's<br />

Business Excellence framework and the ISO 9000 for 2000 Process Model, and<br />

various benchmarking opportunities.<br />

Evaluate and report on the measurable outcomes <strong>of</strong>the holistic approach to<br />

system perfomance, incorporating the measurement <strong>of</strong> customer satisfaction and<br />

internal audits.<br />

Evaluate and report on an industry or organisation's approach to leading and lagging<br />

indicators.<br />

Analyse and report on the variety <strong>of</strong> management systems employed in an<br />

industry or organisation.<br />

Evaluate and present a comprehensive report on the identified continuous<br />

To enable participants to manage resources and complete projects in accordance within<br />

specifications and performance parameters. The students are presented with various<br />
