This unit applies to safe working practices as applied to all metal and engineering<br />

specialistskills. Emergency procedures may include the isolation <strong>of</strong> electrical,<br />

mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and emergency steam and water equipment, as<br />

appopriate. This unit and these standards do notcoverthe skills <strong>of</strong> emergency teams,<br />

such as fire fighting, first aid <strong>of</strong>ficer, etc.<br />
