Aims & Objectives
This Unit of Competency is concerned with planning the revegetation of disturbed,
degraded or remnant natural sites involving analysis of the site, plant selection and the
preparation of maintenance plans. This unit is applicable to a site that incorporates
indigenous and non-indigenous species. Planning of revegetation works is likely to be
undertaken without supervision with only general guidance on progress sought by higher
officers. This unit involves the application of broad knowledge with depth in some areas
