The Medical Secretary Certificate (Stage 2) covers the advanced practices and<br />

procedures that are required to manage the functions <strong>of</strong> a medical <strong>of</strong>fice or<br />

hospital department. The knowledge gained from studying this course will<br />

broaden your existing employment opportunities in the medical specialist fields<br />

and hospitals. Stage 2 covers the terminology <strong>of</strong> specialist medical areas,<br />

provides greater understanding and awareness <strong>of</strong> the national medical system<br />

and health insurance industry, and develops advanced skills to produce documents<br />

relevant to the medical industry. Advanced medical s<strong>of</strong>tware will give you an<br />

opportunity to review and complete a database <strong>of</strong> patients and produce reports.<br />
