Certificate IV in Business (Estate<br />
Agency Practice)<br />
The Real Estate for Agents' Representatives course introduces you to the real<br />
estate industry and its functions. Successful completion <strong>of</strong> this course is<br />
necessary for you to obtain employment in sales or property management.<br />
The Certificate IV in Business (Estate Agency Practice) provides you with the<br />
opportunity to significantly broaden your knowledge and skills in law, accounting<br />
and computing as they relate to real estate. Specialised areas are also covered in<br />
detail. On successful completion <strong>of</strong> this course you will have met the academic<br />
requirernents for a full licence in real estate. In order to obtain a full licence you<br />
must also have at least one year full-time practical experience employed as an<br />
agent representative, over the three years immediately proceeding your<br />
application.<br />

There are no formal entry requirements. However, preference is given to<br />
applicants who are either employed by an estate agent or who can provide<br />
evidence <strong>of</strong> a promise <strong>of</strong> employment on successful completion <strong>of</strong> the course and<br />
who are at least 18 years <strong>of</strong> age.<br />
