Structure<br />

This Graduate Certificate has been developed for:<br />
Secretaries and administrators who already possess executive<br />
administration skills, but have no formal qualification recognising their skills<br />
to this level.<br />
Secretaries and administrators who wish to broaden the skills they have<br />
already gained in an undergraduate program.<br />
Secretaries, receptionists and/or administrators who would like to<br />
significantly increase their skills and qualifications in order to apply for a<br />
promotion to a position <strong>of</strong> Executive Secretary/Assistant or Personal<br />
Assistant.<br />

A diploma, advanced diploma or degree from a recognised tertiary institution, or<br />
equivalent, or be <strong>of</strong> mature age with relevant work experience and demonstrate<br />
an ability to meet course demands.<br />
Students may need to undertake two adult tertiary preparatory modules, Research<br />
Skills 1 and 2, and Argument and Analysis, in order to acquire the necessary skills<br />
to meet course demands.<br />
