Theworking pay of POW Representatives, advisers, if any, and assistants, shall be paid out of thefund maintained by canteen profits. 582 The scale of this working pay shall be fixed by the POWRepresentative and approved by the camp commander. 583 If there is no such fund, the detainingauthorities shall pay these POWs a fair working rate of pay. 5849.24.4.6 Facilities for Communication.
