• observing trials of POWs if security permits and receiving notification of: (1) judicialproceedings, (2) trial outcome, (3) whether the POW has decided to appeal, and (4) finalconviction or death sentence. 7939.32.3 Actively Working to Improve the Welfare of POWs.
