The tag frame inclu<strong>de</strong>s the following sublayers: frame <strong>de</strong>finition and frameelements (Figure 27). The sublayer frame elements (FE) is subdivi<strong>de</strong>d into core and noncore.Each core and non-core frame element is also attributed a typical term. The core FEscorrespond to the mandatory participants in the frame which are i<strong>de</strong>ntified based on theanalysis of the verbs that profile the frame. The non-core FEs are optional participants inthe frame and are i<strong>de</strong>ntified when the contexts of the terms are annotated. We will refer tothe annotation of the contexts in the following section.
